In November 2020 NMVC released its latest CD ‘On the Crest of a Wave.’ It takes the form of a traditional Male Voice Choir concert, with guests soprano Rosemary Turner and our own a capella group Oll an Gwella. In their different ways, both guest artistes bring their own special contribution to what is a musical experience with something for everyone. The CD contains 22 tracks, 14 from the full choir, 4 from Rosemary and 4 from Oll an Gwella.

Our Music

The Newquay MVC repertoire is varied and consists mainly of music that is written (or arranged) for 4-part harmony and includes songs about Cornwall and its communities, barber-shop music, traditional arrangements of Choral, operatic and hymn tunes as well as a wide range of songs from the shows and modern popular songs. We enjoy singing with other choirs, bands and musicians both formally, in concerts, and informally afterwards.
